Scott Bush

Partner, Geller & Company and Chief Client Officer, Geller Advisors

Scott serves as the Chief Client Officer at Geller Advisors LLC. With over 30 years of experience in financial services, business management and leadership, Scott leads all client teams and business development. As a lead executive, he is accountable for ensuring the firm consistently delivers the highest quality client experience, including coaching and developing our next generation of wealth advisors.

Prior to joining Geller, Scott spent seven years at JPMorgan Asset Management as a Managing Director and Market Leader, leading teams for the Private Bank in the Midwest and Florida. His directive was to revitalize the private bank offices in St. Louis and Palm Beach that focused on the ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) community. He was responsible for all private bank operations, including investments, lending, cash management, and long-term planning for UHNW families.

Before joining JPMorgan, Scott co-founded and served as partner of the hard asset private equity firm WhiteHawk Capital, a Hunt Company. Prior to Hunt, Scott spent eight years at Maritz Inc. as the Chief Executive Officer of the Maritz Performance Improvement Company, as well as Chief Marketing Officer and Corporate Senior Vice President & Chief Sales Officer at the holding company level. Before Maritz, Scott served as the CEO of Trans World Express and Head of Global Sales at Trans World Airlines.​ He operated as a key member of the M&A team that ultimately merged TWA with American Airlines.

Earlier in his career, Scott served as Director of Placement in The Office of Presidential Personnel in The White House. He also operated as Director of Investment Missions for Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC, an autonomous finance and consulting company held under the U.S. State Department). While at OPIC, Scott directed international consulting engagements in 18 developing nations in Southeast Asia, Europe, South & Central America, and Northern Africa. In addition, he was Partner of family merchant bank, Bush O’Donnell, on and off for 25 years, CEO at Santal, an advertising and promotional firm, and founder of The American Thought Process in Tokyo, Japan.

Scott is the Founder of the Aspen Young Leaders Fellowship (AYLF), a principle-based leadership fellowship designed to incubate future community and civic leaders in targeted cities and communities around the world. The fellowship was built on the core precepts of The Aspen Institute where Scott serves as a Henry Crown Fellow, and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. AYLF currently operates in St. Louis, Chicago, the Mississippi Delta, and Miami. Scott is also the co-founder and Chairman of the Center of Expanding Leadership & Opportunity, a non-profit social opportunity SAAS business designed to support and measure leadership development across large, high-impact organizations. In addition, Scott serves on multiple for-profit and non-profit boards. ​

Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He continues to teach leadership at Yale University as an adjunct professor and as a visiting professor at other institutions. He lives with his family on Jupiter Island, Hobe Sound, Florida.
