Leanne Haupt serves as Partner and Chief Legal Officer at Geller and a member of its Management Committee. She oversees the firm’s Legal and Compliance function, as well as several operational functions, including Human Capital, Information Technology, Investment Operations, Marketing & Communications, MFO Strategy and Operations, and Risk Management. Leanne works closely with the other leaders to develop and drive large scale strategic initiatives, and to manage the day-to-day operations of the firm.
Prior to joining Geller, Leanne served as the Deputy General Counsel of a large public accounting firm where she was responsible for corporate and commercial transactions, as well as executive compensation, employment counseling, and litigation management. Earlier in her career, she worked as an Associate at a national law firm, and as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.
Leanne is licensed to practice law in New York, Washington DC, Massachusetts, and Maryland, and is a member of New York Bar Association. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the Honors Program at Providence College and received her Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
