Angela DeRose serves as the Chief Compliance Officer at Geller. In her role, she oversees the firm’s compliance program and works closely with the Chief Risk Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, and other senior leaders to provide oversight and proper monitoring of compliance and regulatory risk for the firm.
Angela has close to 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Geller, she served as the Chief Compliance Officer of Tishman Capital Partners, an SEC-registered investment adviser providing investment advisory services to high-net-worth clients and private funds. Here she was responsible for all compliance policies, procedures, controls and regulatory oversight of the adviser, including general legal support. Earlier in her career, Angela worked at several leading bulge bracket banks providing legal and compliance support to their fixed income businesses.
Angela received her Bachelor of Arts from New York University, and her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.
