Martin Braunstein

Managing Director, Head of Strategic Treasury

Martin Braunstein serves as Managing Director, Head of Strategic Treasury at Geller. Martin’s responsibilities include managing capital markets activities for the firm’s largest client and providing oversight of Geller’s corporate finance function. He brings over 40 years of capital markets, structured finance, and bank relationship management experience to his role.

In addition to his current role, Martin also served as the Chief Compliance Officer for the registered investment advisor within Geller’s family office division. Geller Advisors LLC sold to Corient Private Wealth in January 2025. 

Before joining Geller, Martin served as a Managing Director in the Structured Finance Division of the MBIA Corporation where he focused on securitizing cashflows generated from esoteric assets. Prior to MBIA, Martin was the Managing Director at National Cooperative Bank in Washington, DC with responsibility for securitizing commercial real estate mortgages. He held roles with Dean Witter Reynolds, Craigie, and Aetna Capital Management earlier in his career.

Martin received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The College of William and Mary and his Master of Business Administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
