Geller & Company values and understands the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce and we are dedicated to promoting a stimulating and enriching workplace. C.O.D.I. (Community Outreach for Diversity & Inclusion) was established to reinforce a culture of inclusion where professionals from diverse backgrounds join together for innovative thinking. To that end, C.O.D.I. focuses on four key areas: community engagement, networking, mentoring and training. C.O.D.I leaders plan relevant events aimed at establishing a stronger awareness and appreciation of diversity. This initiative has enhanced Geller & Company’s commitment to learning, giving back, supporting professional development and building strong relationships. Since the program’s inception, C.O.D.I. has hosted a number of events, trainings and seminars and through our partnership with GellerCares, C.O.D.I. members have the opportunity to make a direct, positive impact in our community.

Community Engagement

The GellerCares program creates opportunities for our people to participate in community outreach and engagement initiatives by contributing time, energy, much-needed supplies and monetary donations to worthwhile causes. In the last decade, Geller & Company has contributed more than $5 million to arts & culture, education, the environment and health and human services. We offer dozens of opportunities yearly to engage with our community including “adopting” schools in low income areas and providing them with much-needed school supplies, hosting toy drives for underserved children and families, sponsoring programs for gravely ill children, providing meals for food pantries and soup kitchens and running clothing drives for those newly entering the workforce. In 2017, we deepened relationships with some of our not-for-profit partners, including Prep for Prep and the New York Police and Fire Widows' and Children’s Benefit Fund.
