Christopher J. Schiffer, CPA

Chris is an executive with 20 years of accounting, business and financial industry expertise. Chris serves as Director of Operations of Geller Family Office Services LLC (GFOS) responsible for client service operations, finance, technology and administration. Chris is a member of the GFOS leadership team and helps to guide its strategic direction. He serves as Chief Compliance Officer, and is a member of the firm's Investment Committee. His responsibilities include managing and coordinating day-to-day operations, short-term and long-term planning and execution of strategic business goals, as well as evaluation, selection and implementation of outsourcing solutions.

Prior to joining Geller & Company, Chris was COO of Wealth Management at Jefferies & Company. Prior to Jefferies, he spent 9 years in various roles with the Wealth Management group at Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette and its successor firm, Credit Suisse. Chris began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit and assurance.

Chris has a proven track record of building and enhancing internal organizational processes and infrastructure, achieving best practices and outstanding client service. He is expert at fostering a responsive, innovative and collaborative team environment where best practices, a culture of achievement and service excellence are the norm.

Chris received a BS in Accounting from Fordham University. He is also a graduate of New York University's Stern School of Business where he received an MBA in Finance and International Business. Chris is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York, and is New York Life and Health insurance licensed. Chris is also FINRA Series 4, 7, 8, 24, 27, 55 and 66 registered.
